Where Nature Does the Teaching and Confidence Follows
I love books. I believe in education.
But some of the most powerful things I’ve ever seen a child learn didn’t happen at a desk — they happened outside.
They happened while leading a horse.
While figuring out how to stand up on a paddleboard.
While sitting in silence, noticing the sky and their own heartbeat.
And research backs it up: children learn better, regulate emotions more effectively, and build lasting confidence when they’re outside.

Why my Son’s Meltdowns Led me to Build a Ranch
“I had the parenting coach. I had the counselor. I even had emotion cards. But nothing calmed the chaos—until we found the horses.”
When my little boy was unraveling, I did everything I could to hold him together. And then someone asked me a question that changed everything: “Have you tried equine therapy?”
What started as a quiet visit to a pony became the foundation for a healing journey—for both of us.
This is the story behind MeadowView Reins

Sustainable Ranching at MeadowView Reins
At MeadowView Reins, we embrace rotational grazing to promote healthier pastures, stronger soil, and thriving sheep—all while honoring God’s design for the land. This sustainable ranching practice enhances soil fertility, reduces erosion, and even helps combat climate change. Join us in creating a more resilient, intentional way of living.

Emotional Healing with Horses
Horses have an incredible ability to heal the human heart. At MeadowView Reins, they provide comfort, connection, and strength—especially in times of challenge. Discover how equine therapy fosters emotional healing, personal growth, and faith in the face of adversity.

When the Unexpected Happens
One misstep changed everything. On August 11, 2024, a routine morning at MeadowView Reins turned into a test of survival after I suffered a devastating tibia and fibula fracture while tending to the sheep. Alone in the field, I relied on instinct, faith, and the unwavering support of my animals to make it to safety. This injury has put our ranch dreams on hold, but not our resolve. Join me on this journey of recovery, resilience, and unwavering faith.

Rehab Tools & Ranching
A knee scooter may not seem like a life-changing tool, but for me, it was a game-changer. After breaking my leg, I quickly realized that staying involved in ranch life—no matter how small the task—was essential for my mental and spiritual well-being. Through this challenge, I’ve found strength in faith, the power of purposeful work, and the beauty in relying on others. Even in setbacks, God is always at work.
