MeadowView Reins is a certified Canadian Pony Club center. This program goes beyond the saddle to teach the full scope of horsemanship. Riders develop technical skills and confidence while learning about stable management, feeding, and horse health. It is a place to build teamwork and friendships, with the opportunity to work towards national testing levels and earn badges for achievements."

Create an Account. Click the 'Book' button to launch our portal.

Register a Rider. Once logged in, you must create a profile for every rider. Why? This tells us your height, experience level, and medical info so we can assign the right horse. The system also only shows what’s available to book based on these information.

Step 3: Book your riding lesson or pony club session online.

Book Your Session. Once your Rider Profile is saved, the calendar will unlock, and you can select your dates!

Horsemanship lessons (Private/Semi-Private/Group)

Best for: Beginners, adults, or riders wanting flexible 1-on-1 attention.

Riding is a partnership, not just a passenger seat. Our horsemanship lessons cover the complete picture: from catching and grooming to riding with balanced hands and seat. Whether you are building confidence or refining technique, we focus on safety and communication at every step.

Locations: MeadowView Ranch (Big Lake) OR Williams Lake Rec Complex.

Format: 1 Hour (Private or Semi-Private).

A perfect introduction to trail riding. Spend 3 hours exploring the forests and fields of the ranch, followed by a trail-side snack. Ideal for guests who want to experience the peace of the backcountry without a full-day commitment.

Better than a day on the couch. Kids spend the day outdoors with horses, crafts, nature games, and team-building activities. It is a full day of fresh air and friendship.

Saddle & Paddle Adventure Camp (Ages 5 - 10)

Theme: Riding & Lake Adventure

A week of horses, ranch fun, and lake adventure. Campers spend mornings learning horsemanship and riding skills. After lunch we enjoy ranch games and crafts before heading to the lake for paddle boarding during the final part of the day.

When: July 27 - 31

Duration: 5 days

Horse Connection Camp (Ages 7 - 12)

Theme: Confidence & Connection

A small-group horse camp designed for children who benefit from extra encouragement and support. Campers learn horsemanship skills, practice groundwork, and participate in horse-guided activities that build confidence, communication skills, and emotional awareness.

This smaller group allows for more individual attention and a relaxed learning environment.

When: August 4 - 6

Duration: 3 days

Little Wranglers Camp (Ages 4 - 7)

Theme: Introduction & Discovery

A magical introduction to horses for younger children. Campers learn basic horse care, enjoy short rides, play ranch games, and explore the ranch through crafts and outdoor activities.

This camp is designed to help young children feel safe, confident, and excited around horses.

Trailblazers Ranch Camp (Ages 10+)

Theme: Leadership & Teamwork

A leadership and adventure camp inspired by the EAL Canada In Front of the Herd program. Campers build confidence, teamwork, and leadership through horsemanship experiences both in and out of the saddle.

Afternoons include ranch activities and paddle boarding adventures at the lake.

When: August 17 - 21

Junior Ranch Riders Camp (Ages 5 - 12)

Theme: Skill Building & Ranch Fun

Another week of horse riding, ranch games, and lake adventure.

Campers ride, groom horses, and participate in horsemanship activities in the morning. After lunch we enjoy ranch games and crafts before heading to the lake for paddle boarding during the final part of the day.
