At MeadowView Reins, we embrace sustainable ranching, intentional living, and using our unique gifts to create a peaceful retreat. Nestled on 50 acres in Big Lake, our ranch is more than just a getaway—it’s a place to reconnect with family, nature, and a slower pace of life.

We, Joel and Meagan, are the heart behind MeadowView Reins. Our blended family—complete with a kindergartener, two adult teens, and a lively crew of animals—thrives in the great outdoors. With backgrounds in healthcare, fitness, and emergency services, we’ve come together to create something rooted in purpose: a space where others can experience rest, renewal, and connection.

MeadowView Reins is evolving into a wellness-focused bed and breakfast, offering cozy cabins, a small gym for personal fitness, and outdoor adventures. Meagan’s paddling certifications will open the door to guided canoe and SUP sessions on the nearby lake. Through sustainable practices and meaningful experiences, we invite you to be part of our journey—where ranch life brings people closer to what matters most.

A Message from Meagan

Hi there!

I’m Meagan Bruneski—a ranching mama to a busy kindergartener and two amazing teens. Life can be messy and complicated, and believe me, I know how overwhelming it can feel. But through my own journey, I discovered that with the right mindset and a little support, life doesn’t have to stay chaotic. I went from living in survival mode to finding calm—and even achieving financial freedom.

I’ve been where you are. Stuck. Overwhelmed. Unsure of what comes next. And truthfully? I don’t know many moms these days who aren’t feeling that way. Life is a lot. For me, a major turning point came just before my son was born—when an electrical fire destroyed most of our belongings. As I sorted through photos for insurance, I was hit with a realization: we’d accumulated so much stuff—most of it unnecessary.

That experience changed everything. It made me question how I was living and what really mattered. Instead of replacing all the “things,” I chose to take the insurance money and go on safari in Africa with my son. That trip was the start of a reimagined life—one rooted in intention, not accumulation.

Now, I’m not here to tell you to throw everything away. Instead, I want to help you live more intentionally—finding clarity in what you value and letting go of what weighs you down. As a new mom in a blended family, running a ranch and building a simpler lifestyle, I created routines that transformed our day-to-day. I now make space for what truly matters: creating memories, finding calm, and building a life filled with purpose.

That vision is also at the heart of MeadowView Reins, our ranch retreat. It's a space for families to reconnect, for individuals to recharge, and for everyone to find healing through nature, animals, and simplicity.

You don’t have to figure it all out alone. And it doesn’t have to be perfect—I’m definitely not! But I’m here to show you that even small shifts can lead to big changes.

With love,
Meagan

"Minimalism is the intentional promotion of the things we most value by removing everything that distracts us from it." – Joshua Becker

P.S. With a background in competitive athletics, a degree in movement science, and a diploma in design, I took an “athlete’s mindset” and created a method for intentional living. It’s not about a Pinterest-perfect home. It’s about aligning your life with what matters to you.

My husband and I are currently building a new home that reflects those values. While his previous 4600-square-foot house was beautiful, it no longer fit the life we want to live. Our new 1100-square-foot bungalow with a walkout basement represents clarity, simplicity, and freedom—freedom to ranch, spend time with family, and travel. These are our priorities now. I’d love to help you discover yours.
