About MeadowView Reins
Welcome to MeadowView Reins – Where Ranch Life Meets Faith & Wellness
At MeadowView Reins, we embrace sustainable ranching, intentional living, and using our God-given talents to create a peaceful retreat. Nestled on 50 acres in Big Lake, our Christian ranch is more than just a getaway—it’s a place to reconnect with family, nature, and faith.
We, Joel and Meagan, are the heart behind MeadowView Reins. Our blended family, including our kindergartener and two adult teens, thrives in the outdoors alongside our many animals. Our journey has been shaped by careers in healthcare, fitness, and emergency services, but our true calling is building a Christ-centered ranch where guests can experience renewal.
MeadowView Reins is growing into a faith-based bed and breakfast offering cozy cabins, a small gym for personal fitness, and outdoor adventures. Meagan’s paddling certifications will allow guests to enjoy canoeing and SUP sessions on the nearby lake. With sustainable practices, meaningful experiences, and a focus on spiritual wellness, we invite you to join our journey—where ranch life meets faith, family, and nature.
A Message from Meagan
Hi there!
I’m Meagan Bruneski, a ranching mama to a busy kindergartener and two amazing teens. Life can be messy and complicated, and trust me—I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel. But through my own journey, I’ve learned that with a lot of faith and a little support, life doesn’t have to stay chaotic. I was able to move from a place of chaos to calm—and even achieve financial freedom!
I’ve been where you are. Stuck. Overwhelmed. Unsure of what to do next. And honestly, I don’t know many moms these days who aren’t feeling this way. Life is a lot. But one thing that remained constant for me was my unwavering faith and trust in God. He guided me when I was open to His message (and believe me, I know that’s not always easy!). My message came just before my son was born—in the form of a plastic electrical fire that destroyed most of my belongings. Talk about a wake-up call!
As I sifted through countless photos of things I had to replace for insurance, I was struck by how much stuff I had accumulated—so much that wasn’t necessary. That was my turning point. I realized I didn’t need all of these things, and that I had an opportunity to live differently. The insurance payout from those belongings was enough to send my son and me on a safari in Africa. You read that right! That’s when I decided to reimagine my life—and my first step was returning the things I didn’t need.
With my competitive nature, my background in high-level athletics, and my degree in movement science combined with a diploma in design, I started focusing on intentional living. I created a method—an 'athletic approach'—to guide others on their own journeys. Minimalism, or intentional living, isn’t about creating a sterile, magazine-style home. It’s about finding what’s important to you and removing the things that distract you from it.
My husband and I are currently building a new home. While the 4600-square-foot house he and his late wife created is beautiful, it no longer aligns with our values. Our new 1100-square-foot bungalow with a walkout basement represents simplicity, usefulness, and clarity. It frees up time for us to ranch, spend with family, and supports our financial freedom to travel. These are our priorities now, and I can help you find yours.
"Minimalism is the intentional promotion of the things we most value by removing everything that distracts us from it." – Joshua Becker
I’m not here to tell you to get rid of everything. Instead, it’s about being mindful and intentional in how you live and what you own. It’s about recognizing the value—not just the physical or monetary value—but the mental and emotional space it takes up. As a new mom in a blended family, running a busy ranch, I implemented routines that changed our lives. Now, I create lasting memories and experiences for my family, and I can help you do the same.
Part of my journey is also creating a retreat at our ranch, a place for families to reconnect, for individuals to refocus, and for everyone to find healing through nature, animals, and simplicity. It’s my hope that through working together, you’ll find the same peace and joy in your life.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone, and it certainly doesn’t have to be perfect—I'm definitely not! But I can assure you that a lot of faith and a little support can go a long way.
With love,
Meagan
